The Philosophy
At Healing Bear Collective, the heart of our work is creating a space where you feel safe, supported and seen. This is a place for personal exploration—where you're invited to grow in your own way, at your own pace.
We believe that self-expression, self-awareness, and body connection are essential to meaningful transformation. Our approach supports a whole person wellness across mind, heart, body, and soul. Whether you're navigating life transitions, identity, relationships, or healing, coaching here is about helping you build clarity, presence, and confidence.
Everyone has a story worth telling. Coaching is a partnership that helps you uncover and embrace your voice—not by changing who you are, but by bringing forward what's already within you. We work together to create a grounded, judgment-free space where your truth can emerge and your growth is genuine.
You deserve to know what coaching offers—and what it doesn’t. Transparency matters. Coaching isn’t therapy or medical treatment, and it won’t “fix” you. But it can be a powerful ally in helping you shift patterns, name what you need, and move toward deeper alignment with yourself.
While my work is focused on men 21+ from GBTQ+, Bear, and naturist/nudist communities, it is not exclusive and all are welcome here. This is a space that values connection, care, and mutual respect above all else.
Note: Coaching is not a substitute for medical or mental health care. Please seek licensed support where needed.

Life Learning and Credentials
Coaching is a field shaped by lived experience just as much as formal training. When choosing a coach, it’s important to understand where they’re coming from—how they’ve walked through life, how they’ve grown, and what tools they bring to the table.
I graduated from St. John’s University with a degree in history and business/marketing, and spent much of my early career in public service. There, I developed essential skills in communication, organization, and customer care. I also supported my father’s lifelong passion project—a magazine focused on drum corps (competitive marching music). That experience taught me the nuts and bolts of running a creative business: writing, editing, website development, outreach, and production.
Storytelling has always been a natural strength for me. In the ’90s, I started publishing a neighborhood newsletter. Later, I co-hosted an internet radio show, blending music with real talk. Today, I’m a podcaster and online host, facilitating conversations around coaching, identity, humor, and healing—especially during challenging times like the pandemic.
But perhaps the most powerful training I’ve had comes from life itself.
I’ve lived through family challenges, health issues, and personal struggles. I’ve navigated anxiety, autism, diabetes, body image, and even a period of temporary blindness. I know what it’s like to feel invisible or misunderstood—and I also know the power of reclaiming your story.
In 2012, I embraced social nudism as a personal and spiritual turning point. What started as curiosity became a transformative practice that deepened my connection to self-love, body acceptance, and community. It taught me that vulnerability isn’t weakness, but it’s a pathway to connection and healing.
All of these experiences help me meet others where they are—with presence, empathy, and real-world perspective. Coaching, to me, isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about walking beside you with curiosity, honesty, and care.

About Me
Hi, I’m Robert Bellarn (he/him), and I’m here to help you navigate your personal journey—whether it’s around identity, purpose, creativity, or simply the next chapter of your life.
I bring decades of lived experience to this work. My focus is on transformation, mindfulness, self-care, and career mentoring, especially for men exploring their own voice and healing. I work with introverts and extroverts alike, helping each client uncover their own story and define growth on their terms.
In addition to coaching, I’m a creative artist, writer, and model. I host a range of programs—Sportschat (biweekly), Coaches' Lab, and Storychat (monthly)—through partnerships like GoNaked Magazine and California Community of Men.
Brooklyn-born and a lifelong learner, I’m equal parts nerd and nature lover. I enjoy long walks, swimming, softball, yoga, massage, and strength training. I'm currently expanding my skillset with studies in bodywork, breathwork, and authenticity practices—all tools I hope to integrate into future offerings.
I'm proud to be part of several communities, including Bear, GBTQ+, Polyamorous, and Nudist/Naturist circles. But most importantly, I welcome people as they are. This work is about being real—not perfect.
If you're ready to be supported by someone who gets what it means to grow, shift, and evolve over time—I'm here for that.
